What Speed Is: Distance per Time

SI unit is meter per second (m/s). One meter per second is about 3.6 km/h, 2.23694 mph, 1.94384 knots and 0.002938 Mach at sea-level standard. Kilometer per hour is kilometers per 3,600 seconds.
