How to Convert Formats Correctly

- Step 2: Check transparency — JPG/WebP lossy outputs get white fill for PNG sources; PNG outputs keep alpha.
- Step 3: Set quality for JPEG/WebP (80–85% recommended) and download. For PNG, quality is ignored (lossless).
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- JPG ↔ JPEG re-encoding at 92% after a previous 85% save — causes generation loss. Rename instead; do not re-encode same JPEG.
- Converting JPG photo to PNG for smaller size — PNG will be 5–10× larger. Use JPEG/WebP instead.
- Uploading 8000×8000 30 MB images without size check — will hit 64 MP/30 MB limits and show a clear error.
- Expecting PNG → SVG to become editable vector — it embeds the PNG, not traces paths.
